Fight Club

Fight Club – Chuck Palahniuk

So most people have seen the movie. Its got Brad Pitt, Edward Norton and Helena Bonham Carter. Its all very gritty and pop cultury all at the same time. The book is a better version of that.

I am Jacks total lack of surprise.

From the get go you can tell something isnt quite right away you know that the main character is less than sane. Then Marla shows up, then the infamous Tyler Durden (Brad Pitts character in the movie) and the whole thing starts on a whole crazy ride . Fight Clubs pop up, they start a militia and Marla’s mum ends up in some soap. There is so much detail and you feel like you’re right in the action.

I took the book at face value. I read it for what was on the page. 3 days ago I made the mistake of looking at other reviews of the book and theories about different scenarios. Now I’m not even sure what book I read or If It is the same book everyone else had. Fight club is a fantastic book. The more you read it the more you will find little things you didn’t see before and it’ll make you think.
