I’m a big fan of all things deep conditioning for your hair *especially* if there is minimal effort. I’ve used the Lush hair mask Yuge for ages but on one of my classic post work shopping adventures I came across the L’Oreal Elvive Extrodinary Oil Hair Mask for $6.
The mask is a coconut oil base so as you can imagine smells like exactly that. I wasn’t on board with the whole coconut oil trend so I’m a bit late to the party with all this. The mask also claims it can be used in multiple ways. My hair is super fine so I don’t think it would work as a styling cream or leave in conditioner but for my daughters curly hair I think it would be really good. I have used it twice now as a hair mask and it’s phenomenal. It leave my hair shiny and soft. There’s less knots and my hair doesn’t seem to shed or break as much.
Overall I think it’s great and enough to knock Yuge off its perch as my preferred hair mask. It’s $10.99 for 300ml and I’m only just getting to half way after 4 weeks. So not only is it great on your hair it’s not too bad on your wallet at 3 cents a ml.
